Request an Observation

The first step

Experience the school for yourself.

If you are considering Kung Fu or Tai Chi, begin by completing the appropriate observation request. Your responses help Sifu Wang understand what draws you to the training and whether a visit makes sense.

Kung Fu

Request a Kung Fu observation

For adults prepared to attend at least twice each week, practice between classes and participate in quarterly testing.

Tai Chi

Request a Tai Chi observation

For adults drawn to a quieter practice that begins with relaxation and inner stillness—and able to attend both weekly classes and practice between them.

What happens next

A chance to meet and observe.

Your request will be reviewed. If a visit seems appropriate, Sifu Wang will contact you to arrange a time to meet, speak and observe part of a regular class. Submitting a form does not automatically schedule a visit.

If the fit is mutual, you may be invited to begin. New students normally begin at the opening of a calendar quarter—January, April, July or October. In some cases, Sifu Wang may invite a student to begin sooner.

Observation, not a trial class

An observation lets you see how the school actually trains, how instruction is offered and whether its approach resonates with you. The Academy does not offer trial classes.
